Great color is icing for this colt, the cake is his genetics, they are some of the deepest and most prestigious of the Vanner breed. The Roadsweeper, his sire,  is a DNA son of the Lion King and has genetics that go all the way back to The Coal Horse. The Coal Horse was one of the two stallions that inspired the Vanner breed soon after World War II. The Coal Horse was also the sire that inspired The Road Sweeper's name. The Dam's sire is world famous Breyer model, The Gypsy King. This fancy boy has a destiny with greatness.

Shogun, his father, is the most famous sire alive today (Every Gypsy knows Shogun) Shogun is a son of The Kent Horse and The Horse Shoe Mare, two of the Vanner breeds greatest sires and dams. ( it was The Kent Horse who inspired, preserving the feelings of status and pride that is the third goal of the GVHS)  His mother Shampoo Girls is GV00007 one of North America's first Vanner mares and arguably the best producing mare in North America. Shampoo Girl's sire, The White Horse was one of the best three stallions Cindy and Dennis Thompson (founders of the GVHS) ever found.  We have already kept to Shampoo Girl sons for our own stallion line up - Caymus & BB King!
